Hispanic Heritage Month is a month-long celebration in the United States that takes place from September 15th to October 15th. It recognizes and honors the contributions, culture, and history of Hispanic and Latinx communities. It is important to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month for students and families because it promotes cultural diversity, fosters inclusivity, and provides an opportunity to learn about the rich heritage and achievements of Hispanic and Latino individuals. It helps to create a sense of pride, belonging, and understanding among students and families from these communities, while also encouraging cross-cultural appreciation and awareness among all individuals.
